October 12 - The fall athletics season is well underway at SAAS with, as usual, another tremendous turnout. The Cardinals have fielded twelve soccer teams, four volleyball teams, and two cross country teams for a total of eighteen teams. Over 225 kids, more than a third of the school, are participating in athletics this fall.

“The interest in our athletic program continues to be outstanding,” said second-year Athletic Director Cathy Schick. “The number of participants is incredible, and we look forward to a very exciting and successful conclusion to the fall season.”   

By the end of this trimester Seattle Academy will have participated in over 200 athletic contests on the middle school and high school levels. Among the most successful teams at SAAS is again the Cardinals varsity girls’ soccer team. The defending 1A state champions have picked up right where they left off last season and are undefeated in league play this year with a 5-0 record.
