November 17 - The Center for Urban Horticulture's Elisabeth C. Miller Library is hosting a book reading/signing and wine/cheese celebration of Connie Sidles' new book, In My Nature: A Birder’s Year at the Montlake Fill. Connie is both an alum parent (Alex ’00 and Nathan ‘02) and a former faculty member here. She is the founder of the 6th Grade Writing Project producing many books prior to her retirement a few years ago.

The signing will take place on Monday, November 30, from 6:30 - 8 PM. The Center for Urban Horticulture, founded in 1983, is now part of the University of Washington Botanic Gardens.
