January 15 - Tuesday, January 19, will be Coaches vs. Cancer night at Seattle Academy. Four of the Cardinals’ Upper School basketball teams will be in action against Overlake with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

“Many members of our community have been affected by cancer,” said SAAS Athletic Director and girls’ varsity head coach Cathy Schick. “This is just one small way in which the school can participate in helping to fund treatment and research. I hope to see a large turnout in support of this event.”

Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
