September 15, 2009 - For the second year in a row, the All-School Picnic was held in Seward Park. This social event, held last Sunday evening, is the first opportunitiy for all families to gather and reconnect. With wonderful weather and a great turn-out, this year's picnic also marked the kick-off for this year's Environmental Club, who used the opportunity to educate the community about composting and recyling, as well as conducted an experiment in the types of waste created. Keep checking back here for more information on what they discovered, and how our entire community can help keep the Earth green. A huge thank you to all the parent volunteers who make these events so successful.
