Adam Hockemeyer '13 (with his father, William) happily heads home with his new laptop.
September 14, 2009 - Last Tuesday's Out-of-the-Box Night was an exciting evening for the ninth graders: The night they finally received their long-awaited laptops.

Before advisors handed out the highly-anticipated instruments ninth grade students and parents gathered in the Orvis Theatre for an Internet safety presentation by Detective Malinda Wilson of the Seattle Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.
Detective Wilson covered topics ranging from cyber-bullying to identity theft, and cautioned students on the dangers of the Internet. Seattle Academy is a very tech-savvy community; however, students must recognize technology's potential for both good and bad.
